Well,

No ultrasound, but we did get to hear the heartbeating again! The doc said the uteres is about the size of a cantaloup and the baby is six inches long (that's from head to base of spine only) The hearbeat sounded like a helicopter so I nick-named the baby after a 68-MED aircraft "Balls-8" (it's really 008).
My next appt is on the 14th of August @ 1 & 2:30pm. We have a ultrasound scheduled for sure on this one! I should have my September appt before I go home on a little 2 week vacation on 27th Sept - 12th Oct. I'm a little bit home-sick and need my Mommy!

Well hello everyone,

It's been a while since the last addition to the blog. A lot has happened, I moved into the new house, got a new puppy "Hannah," a little yellow lab, my best friend Caitlin, her husband Rene & baby Rene (up top) PCS-ed to Ft. Hood Texas... (leaving me friend-less!!)
Most important of all: I found out that we're pregnant!!

The due date so far is the 9th of Janurary 2007. I do not want to find out the sex of the baby... I really wants the arrival of my first child to be a complete surprise. I do want to find out due to the fact that things aren't cheap anymore and we need to get start buying all the gender specific things, but if I find out I know I'll only ruin the surprise.

This little baby has put us through some hard moments already. At only 6 weeks I started hemorrhaging behind the placenta, which is normal when the bleeding is slow, but mine was anything but! (It's the huge dark oval directly on top of the baby) We had a ultrasound done to see if the baby was okay, we got to see it's little heart beating, it was as fast as a flash of light!! I was placed on bed rest for about 2 weeks, went in for the follow-up ultrasound & found the baby to be just fine, the bleeding had stopped. We were able to see & hear the heart beating this time!! (That's the really white spot on the baby)

We have not had a ultrasound since then, but we are hoping we'll have another done tomorrow. I'll try to take a picture of it and post it on the blog ASAP. By the way I am currently at 16 weeks.

I must get going now, I actually have some work to do today...!! Yeah Right!
